Safe Sitter Course

Do you have a student in grades 6 through 8 who is interested in babysitting? Or maybe you want your tween to learn a few skills for staying home alone or with younger siblings? An upcoming Safe Sitter course at the 12th Street Community Center may be just what you need to feel confident leaving your tween with little ones! Participants will learn important safety skills through fun roleplay and games, including practicing CPR on manikins!

The course will be held on March 12 and 13 from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at the 12th Street Community Center. Participants should bring a sack lunch both days. Register online by March 5 for $40! To stay informed about other classes at 12th Street, follow the center on Facebook!
